Terms and Conditions for Private and Group Art Workshops and Lessons

These Terms and Conditions ("Agreement") govern the provision of private and group art workshops and lessons ("Services") provided by Dannielle Arneso ("Instructor" or "we/us"). By booking or participating in any of our art workshops and lessons, you ("Participant" or "you") agree to be bound by these terms.
1. Booking and Payment
1.1 Booking
To secure your spot for a private or group art workshop or lesson, a booking must be made in advance through [instructor's booking system, email, or website]. For group public workshops, bookings are on a first-come, first-served basis.
1.2 Payment
Full payment is required at the time of booking for all workshops and lessons, unless otherwise agreed. Payments can be made via cash, Venmo, credit/debit card.
1.3 Prices
The prices for our art workshops and lessons are listed on our website or provided upon inquiry. These prices are subject to change, but the price you agree to at the time of booking will remain fixed for that session
2. Cancellations and Refunds
2.1 Private Lessons
- Cancellations for private lessons must be made at least 48 hours in advance for a full refund. Cancellations made within 48 hours will incur a cancellation fee of 50% of the lesson fee.
- If the instructor cancels, a full refund will be provided or a rescheduled session will be offered.
2.2 Group Workshops
- Cancellations for group workshops must be made at least 7 days in advance for a full refund. Cancellations made within 7 days of the workshop will not be refunded, though you may transfer your booking to another participant or a future workshop if available.
- If the instructor cancels a group workshop, a full refund will be provided or an alternative session offered.
2.3 No-shows
In the event of a no-show by the Participant, no refund or reschedule will be provided.
3. Schedule and Duration
3.1 Session Duration
The duration of each art lesson or workshop will be clearly stated at the time of booking. Participants should arrive on time, as lessons and workshops will start promptly.
3.2 Late Arrivals
If you arrive late to a session, the time lost will not be made up, and the session will still end at the originally scheduled time.
4. Materials and Equipment
4.1 Provided Materials
For group workshops, the Instructor will provide all necessary art materials unless otherwise noted in the workshop description. For private lessons, materials may be provided or requested to be brought by the Participant, as per the lesson plan.
4.2 Participant Responsibility
For private lessons or group workshops, if the Participant prefers to use their own materials, it is the Participant's responsibility to bring them to the lesson. The Instructor will not be liable for any damages or losses related to materials brought by the Participant.
5. Participant Conduct
5.1 Behavior
Participants are expected to behave respectfully during all workshops and lessons. Disruptive or inappropriate behavior may result in being asked to leave the session without a refund.
5.2 Health and Safety
Participants should notify the Instructor of any allergies, physical limitations, or health conditions that may impact their participation. The Instructor is not liable for any injuries sustained during the workshop or lesson, and Participants should take necessary precautions to ensure their own safety.
6. Photographs and Media
6.1 Use of Images
The Instructor may take photographs or videos during workshops for promotional purposes, including social media, websites, and print materials. By participating in the workshop, you grant permission for the Instructor to use images of you and your artwork for these purposes.
6.2 Opt-Out
If you do not wish to have your photograph taken, please inform the Instructor in advance or let them know at the start of the workshop.
7. Liability
7.1 Instructor Liability
The Instructor will take reasonable precautions to ensure the safety of all Participants and provide instruction in a professional and competent manner. However, the Instructor is not liable for any personal injury, loss, or damage to property that may occur during participation in any workshop or lesson.
7.2 Participant Liability
Participants are responsible for their own actions and for ensuring they are physically capable of engaging in the activities offered in the workshops or lessons.
8. Changes to Terms
The Instructor reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on the website or communicated directly to Participants. Continued participation in the workshops or lessons constitutes acceptance of these changes.
9. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Wisconsin/USA, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Wisconsin/USA.
